Tim Cunningham
Tim wrote, raised the money for, produced, directed, and edited the independent feature film Xtracurricular which was released for home video sale in North America in 2003. Also in 2003, he was selected from a field of 4000 as a top 50 director finalist for HBO's Project Greenlight 2 . His latest feature, a thriller he wrote/produced/directed is called Sick Boy; was shot in Austin and has been released on DVD.
For the last few years, Tim has worked for Academy Award winning Rhythm and Hues Studios as Digital Producer. He managed a team of more than 250 digital artists for the feature film Land of the Lost starring Will Ferrell, and was Visual Effects Producer for the film State of Play starring Russell Crowe and Ben Affleck. Other recent credits include producing the character design for last winter's smash hit Alvin and the Chipmunks, Digital Producer of visual effects for the comedy Evan Almighty and producing the character animation for the blockbuster Night at the Museum.
Some of Tim's other visual effects credits since 1997 include Visual Effects Producer for The Chronicles of Narnia which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects in a Feature Film; The Chronicles of Riddick, X2: X-Men United, Eight Legged Freaks, The Patriot, Armageddon, and The Postman.
